Every other year the University Museum pays tribute to the creative individuals who once matriculated at the University. This exhibition showcases a collection of creative works by an active group of 27 dedicated artists, whose works are inspired by imagination and nature. These works are a visual kaleidoscope of both abstract and real life masterpieces presented on a wide range of media including drawings, paintings, mixed media, textile and sculpture. The varied pieces are a testament to their vision and commitment and a marvelous reflection of the past 64 years of visual art at Texas Southern University.
The exhibition is on view September 25 – January 24, 2016, with a special opening reception at 7pm Friday, September 25th.
