Every other year the University Museum pays tribute to the creative individuals who once matriculated at the University. This exhibition showcases a stunning collection of creative works by an active group of 27 dedicated artists; inspired by both imagination and real life. These works offer visual interpretations of life and fantasy presented on a wide range of media: from drawings to paintings, mixed media and sculptures. The varied pieces are a testament to their vision and commitment and a marvelous reflection of the past 59 years of visual art at Texas Southern University.
The Exhibition is on view September 23 – January 14, 2018
Opening night reception at 7pm Friday, September 22nd.
