"Celebrating 74 Years of Creative Excellence"

 

The University Museum at Texas Southern University is proud to announce the much-anticipated return of "Homecoming," an alumni art exhibition that pays tribute to the rich legacy of creative individuals who once walked the halls of the Department of Visual and Performing Arts. This year marks the eleventh installation of "Homecoming," celebrating over seven decades of artistic excellence at Texas Southern University.

 

The "Homecoming" exhibition is a testament to the enduring spirit of creativity and the indelible mark left by our alumni in the world of visual arts. Featuring an extraordinary collection of works, this exhibition captures the essence of reality and the boundless realms of fantasy, all expressed through an array of artistic mediums, including painting, drawing, sculpture, and mixed media. With each stroke of the brush, every sculpted form, and every intricate detail, the artists showcase their dedication to pushing the boundaries of artistic expression.
